Carbonfrost's website is designed with a high regard for the role of standards.
Carbonfrost believes that Internet standards increase the availability of the Web
to every community, to every browser, and to every platform. To this end, Carbonfrost
is making a concerted effort to express its website and all of its Web materials
in a way that is consistent with the latest Internet standards.
Moreover, this website is best viewed on one of the following Web browsers because
each of these Web browsers is the most commensurate with Carbonfrost's vision of
a standards-based Internet:

The Internet is no longer bound to the desktop screen. As the Internet transcends
to new technologies like mobile devices and televisions, to other media like print
and virtual paper, to cultures with different alphabets, currencies, and languages,
and to people with assistive needs such as screen readers, the challenge of creating
a website that works consistently for all these communities is enormous; however,
Carbonfrost is committed to making its website as accessible as possible for all
of its current and potential customers.
As we enter a new generation of Web development, the changes are less striking than
the similarities.
Many platforms have emerged that attempt to change everything about the way we look
at the Web. Some have been successful, and others have not. Many platforms have
appeared or were proposed that attempt to address a particular or better or faster
or smarter way of developing for the Web. Some have been successful, and others
have not. Many languages, applications, and protocols have emerged from the chaos.
Some have remained, and others have receded into nostalgia. A few continue to be
successful, and others are unproven.
Despite these changes, the message of the Internet has always been the same: more
open, more access, more people, more ideas, ... just more.
Carbonfrost's Web presence is designed with this philosophy in mind. Change is inevitable,
but these goals of the Web should remain the same. Carbonfrost's Web presence will
evolve as the Internet does, and for our viewers, customers, and community, we will
provide more access, more support, more innovations, more ideas,... just more.
